Czech Philatelic Section COSMOS

Sekce KOSMOS byla založena roku 1971 v Praze, čož z ní činí jednu z nejstarších kosmo- filatelistických společností světa. Cíle její činnosti jsou následující :

• - podporovat sbírání fil. materiálu spojeného s vesmírem a jeho výzkumem lidstvem

• - informovat členy o novinkách v kosmickém výzkumu a o kosmických letech

• - sesbírat informace o kosmickém fil. materiálu z celého světa

• - informovat členstvo o nových trendech ve vystavování kosmického fil. materiálu

• - poskytovat svým členům nový fil. materiál z ruských kosmodromů .

The philatelic section "KOSMOS" was founded in Prague in 1971, which makes the section one of the oldest cosmo-philatelic societies worldwide. The goals of activity of the society are as follows :

• - to promote collecting of phil. items connected with Space and men´s trying in the Space

• - to inform the members about efforts in cosmic exploration and about space flights

• - to collect information about cosmic phil. material from whole world

• - to inform the members about newest trends in exhibits of cosmic philatelic material

• - to provide its members with new material from Russian cosmic sites .

Die ArGe KOSMOS wurde in Prag im Jahre 1971 gegründet, was sie einer der ältesten Kosmosarbeitsgemeinschaften der Welt macht . Die Arbeitsziele der ArGe sind folgende :

• - Die Ausbreitung des Sammeln des Kosmosbriefmarken und Belege

• - Information über neuen Entwicklung in der Weltraumerforschung und über die menschlichen Weltallfliege

• - Information über dem philatelistischen Material mit dem Kosmosthema aus aller Welt

• - Information für die Mitglieder der ArGe über neusten Trenden in Ausstellung des Komosmateriales

• - Die Besorgung des neuen phil. Materials aus russichen Kosmodrome für Mitglieder

Členové sekce KOSMOS připravili dvě filatelistické výstavy KOSMOS 96 a KOSMOS 99, přičemž výstavy KOSMOS 99 se účastnili i zahraniční sběratelé .

The members of the KOSMOS section prepared two philatelic exhibitions KOSMOS 96 and KOSMOS 99, KOSMOS 99 was exhibition with international participation of cosmic collectors.

Die ArGe KOSMOS Mitglieder haben zwei Briefmarkenausstellungen KOSMOS 96 und KOSMOS 99 organisiert. In der Ausstellung KOSMOS 99 haben auch die ausländischen Aussteller teilgenommen .

Členské schůzey se konají pravidelně každou poslední sobotu v měsíci v Pražském planetariu

v Královské oboře ( Praha 7 ) od 13:00 hod. .

The meeting point of the members are the regulary meeting held every last Saturday of the month in Prague Astronomical Observatory v Královské oboře ( (Planetárium, Královská obora, Prague 7 ) from 1:00 pm .

at 1:00 p.m. .

Der Treffpunkt der ArGe Mitglieder ist Prager Planetarium v Královské oboře ( (Planetárium, Královská obora, 7. Bezirk ) od 13:00 hod. .

, wo am jeden letzten Samstag des Monates um 13:00 Uhr ein Mitgliedstreffen stattfindet .

Důležitou součástí činnosti sekce je vydávání zpravodaje KOSMOS a mnoha knižních publikací. Zpravodaj KOSMOS byl prvně vydán již v roce 1971 a od té doby se vypracoval na prestižní periodikum. Na specializované výstavě GARCHINGER WELTRAUM-TAGE 1997 obdržel pozlacenou medaili .

Very important part of society´s activity has been created by issuing of journal KOSMOS as well as many books on the theme. The Journal KOSMOS was published first time in 1971. It is very prestigious journal receiving at the Cosmic Stamp Show GARCHINGER WELTRAUM-TAGE 1997 the Vermeil Award .

Sehr wichtige Teil der ArGe Tätigkeit ist durch Ausgabe der Zeitschift KOSMOS sowie von vielden Büchern gebildet. Die Zeitschrift war erstes Mal im Jahre 1971 ausgegeben. Heute handelt sich um einer der Prestigezeitschriften der Welt, die auf der Kosmosbriefmarkenausstellung GARCHINGER WELTRAUM-TAGE 1997 eine Vermeil Medaille bekommte .
